The Shigaraki Ceramic Cultural Park

Shiga Ceramic Culture Park is based on the concepts of " Ceramics x Art x Nature" in Shigaraki. Including an art museum specializing in ceramics, The Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art, another dealing with Shigaraki industrial ceramics, Shigaraki Industrial Exhibition Hall, and a residency studio for domestic and international artists. The Museum of Contemporary Ceramic Art, while exhibiting modern ceramics and art nurtured in Shiga also has a reputation for its cutting edge ceramics collection produced by artists in residency and boasts an abundant track record of lending works to exhibitions both domestically and abroad.
