The Lake Biwa Museum

Lake Biwa Museum exhibits on the ecology and culture of Lake Biwa. At the permanent exhibition can experience the charm of Lake Biwa through a variety of displays on four million years of lake history, the surrounding wild life, the culture of fishing. Treetop walk takes visitors to get a close up look at the types of trees in the museum's grounds and also provides an excellent view of the lake. Full of events for children the museum is a great place for a day out with the family.
