Kawara Museum

VOICE
A museum themed around the history of Hachiman tiles and the city, which flourished as a merchant town in Omihachiman, Shiga Prefecture. On the premises, 24,000 roof tiles are used not only on roofs but also on pathways, allowing visitors to enjoy the scenery. Workshops are also held in which participants can create pieces using tile clay (reservation required).
